Unique, customized jewellery popular in Qatar

Creating totally unique and personalised jewellery and time pieces “is something popular in the Qatar market,” Faberge’s marketing and communications manager Nicola Richards has said.

“Qataris want to know about the piece they are wearing, it is not about just the material value, but about the intricacies and the details of the piece,” she told Gulf Times during the concluding day of the Doha Jewellery and Watches Exhibition 2018.

The skillful techniques that Faberge pieces feature such as the intricate gems remained a critical part of clients’ collections, which is appealing to them, according to Richards.
She said the brand can create pendants that often inspired or represent the national flag, for instance, but one special feature about Faberge is that it can create completely bespoke items.
“Our in-house designers work very closely and collaboratively with our clients to create a piece that is totally unique to them and therefore extremely personal,” Richards added.
Participating for the sixth time at the DJWE with Alfardan Jewellery, Faberge is known as the world’s most iconic artist jeweller, producing exceptional and jewellery and timepiece collections.
